i2 User Group's Annual Directions Conference November 7 - 9 in Orlando to Feature Supply Chain Best Practices

ON Semiconductor, VF Corporation and Sprint take the general session stage to share i2 implementation best practices

DALLAS —October 10, 2005—The i2 User Group will host Directions 2005, its annual conference for learning supply chain management best practices and gaining greater knowledge about the use of solutions from i2 Technologies, Inc., November 7 - 9 at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Fla.

The conference will feature general session presentations from Charlotte Diener, vice president and chief supply officer, Global Supply Chain Operations at ON Semiconductor; Stephen Perrine, manager of Logistics IT Development at Sprint; Ellen Martin, vice president of Supply Chain Systems at VF Corporation; Pallab Chatterjee, president, i2 Solutions Operations; and Michael McGrath, i2 chief executive officer and president.

Directions attendees can expect to learn how to leverage existing supply chain investments to reap additional benefits across the enterprise. Best practices for next generation supply chain management will also be shared and i2 executives will discuss the future direction of i2 and its solutions

The conference includes 25 breakout sessions featuring customers sharing best practices in the use of i2 solutions. Breakout tracks include Auto and Industrial, Consumer Goods, Energy and Chemicals, High Technology, Retail, Transportation and Logistics, Best Practices, Upgrades and Customer Education. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend free training on i2 solutions, as well as participate in product enhancement workshops. Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings, designed to enable users to share experiences and best practices with their industry peers will also take place.
