i2 User Group to Feature AMR Research, Dell, Emerson, General Motors and i2 as Presenters During Annual Directions Conference

DALLAS – October 8, 2007 – The i2 User Group will bring together industry-leading companies at the annual Directions conference in Newport Beach, Calif., Nov. 5–7. The conference will focus on how companies can leverage solutions from i2 Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:ITWO) to drive continuous process innovation and stay at the top of the supply chain game.

An impressive line-up of general session speakers will discuss case studies, best practices and industry hot topics during the event. General session speakers include:

• Stephen D. Hochman, research director at AMR Research, who will share the results of a recent study as well as provide insight into macro-market trends, and provide visibility into how success is achieved, defined and measured.
• Dell’s supply chain evangelist, Mike Gray, who will discuss strategies for how companies can improve business processes by focusing on two primary areas: risk mitigation and cash management.
• James Geesey, director of eSourcing at Emerson, who will discuss how i2 solutions for strategic sourcing have been globally adopted by Emerson’s sourcing group and play an integral part in value creation.
• From General Motors, Nagesh Sridharan, director for strategy and transformation, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain IS&S, who will address the key focus areas for business process reengineering and information technology in the innovation, globalization and transformation of GM’s enterprise value chain.
• Pallab Chatterjee, i2 Interim Chief Executive Officer, who will share i2’s strategy for results-focused supply chain solutions and processes.

Directions attendees will benefit from a conference focused on the industry’s most pressing topics as well as an expanded agenda with training opportunities for technical users. The 25 breakout sessions will feature an impressive line-up of companies including Kia Motors, The Sherwin-Williams Company, Kimberly-Clark, ON Semiconductor and Ryder.
