ADTRAN, Ryder and Gartner to speak during general session
DALLAS – September 20, 2006 – The i2 User Group will host its annual Directions conference October 16 – 18 at the InterContinental Dallas. The annual user’s conference will focus on the fundamentals of driving supply chain efficiency as well as the opportunity of new-generation supply chain solutions from i2 Technologies, Inc.
The conference will feature general session presentations from Tom Dadmun, vice president of supply chain operations at ADTRAN; David Belter, director of transportation at Ryder Integrated Logistics; Andrew White, research vice president at Gartner; Pallab Chatterjee, i2 chief delivery officer and executive vice president, Solutions Operations; and Michael McGrath, i2 president and CEO.
Directions attendees will benefit from a conference focused on optimizing business functions as well as an expanded agenda with training opportunities for technical users. Best practices for new-generation supply chain management will also be shared and i2 executives will discuss the future direction of i2 and its solutions.
The conference includes breakout sessions featuring customers sharing best practices in the use of i2 solutions. These industry focused sessions will highlight case study examples from customers such as IBM, Honeywell, Payless ShoeSource, Whirlpool and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in free training for i2 solutions, as well as participate in product enhancement workshops. Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings, designed to enable users to share experiences and best practices with their industry peers will also take place.
