i2 and the i2 User Group Now Accepting Nominations for the Ken Sharma Award for Excellence

i2 customers honored for groundbreaking best practices in supply chain management

DALLAS – July 23, 2007 – Industry leading companies are transforming their supply chains into strategic and competitive weapons that can better leverage business assets, drive value to the bottom line and mitigate risk. i2 Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITWO) and the i2 User Group are inviting i2 customers to submit nominations for the annual Ken Sharma Award for Excellence. Named in honor of i2 co-founder Ken Sharma, one of the pioneers of supply chain management, the award recognizes companies with i2 deployments either planned, in progress or complete with documented value received.

“The Ken Sharma Awards are a great tradition - honoring i2 users for the groundbreaking and innovative ways they are using the supply chain,” said Ravi Vancheeswaran, i2 User Group chairman. “The i2 User Group fosters knowledge sharing and networking across companies, industries and regions, and this award celebrates Ken Sharma’s vision for sharing those best practices.”

Nominees will be judged by independent industry analysts from AMR Research. Finalists will be selected based on the companies’ overall vision, complexity of the project, innovation in approaching business challenges, time to value and results.

“Our customers are expanding their supply chain initiatives and vision as they recognize the business efficiencies and bottom-line value that can be realized through supply chain management programs. These awards are an opportunity for i2 to honor our customers and their supply chain accomplishments as well as Ken Sharma’s legacy,” said Barbara Stinnett, i2’s Chief Customer Officer and Executive Vice President.

About Ken Sharma
As vice chairman and co-founder of i2 from 1988 until his death in 1999, his leadership and vision not only helped to make i2 a top provider of supply chain solutions, but also to change the paradigms by which industries understand concepts such as supply chain planning and technology.
