i2 User Group Announces Renewed Commitment in i2 Management Team

i2's New Leadership Dedicated To Creating Value And Ensuring Customer Success

ATLANTA -- May 28, 2002 -- After a multi-day session with i2 executives during i2 PLANET 2002, the i2 User Group (i2UG) announced its renewed support in the new leadership and customer-focused direction that the value chain management solution provider is taking.

"The i2UG Board of Directors is extremely pleased that Sanjiv Sidhu is once again serving as the CEO at i2, supported by newly appointed COO Sam Nakane, who is known for his commitment to customers, said J.B. Hoyt, i2UG Chairman. "i2's renewed commitment to customer success will translate into increased value."

The i2UG Board of Directors, which consists of 12 elected i2 product users and partner companies met during i2 PLANET to candidly discuss strategic and tactical issues. Several new initiatives between i2 and the independent i2UG have resulted from these discussions including clarifying upgrade paths, ensuring product quality, and engaging i2UG members in i2's customer-centric development process.

Sanjiv Sidhu, i2's chairman and CEO, during the meeting stated, "i2 is committed to our customers more than ever and will work closely with the i2UG to help our customers optimize their value chains and realize incredible value from i2 solutions."

The i2 User Group is an independent user group formed in 1997 to address the concerns of i2 user companies and to present user concerns to i2 Technologies in a united forum. The i2UG sponsors Directions, an annual user conference where i2 users network and share information. In addition to the ability to network with other users, benefits of i2UG involvement include the Quality Council, the Enhancements Vote, the Special Interest Groups and a reference archive of presentations and case studies on the web dating back to 1998.   Since it's founding, the i2UG and i2 have worked together collaboratively and provided insight and support regarding products, services and other topics of interest to i2 users.
